the royal advisers

There will be one for the High King of the West and one for the High King of the East. Each King will hold his own auditions when the time comes and he will list the requirements for this positions. Typically the Royal Adviser is someone the High King respects and trusts more than anyone else in the Kingdom. It is said that he or she is the second most powerful equine by some, while others consider them as nothing more than a figurehead.

Each High King will need one. This is the equine in charge or recruiting and filling the ranks in the King's Army. They are not only in charge of protecting the King from threats but also of training the equine and conferring with the King when selecting those who fill high ranks within the King's Army. This equine is considered a Higher Rank than the General of the Army but lower than The Grand Spy or the Royal Adviser.

He is the one who protects the King from threats within and discovers information on the other Kingdom that most equine can't beat out of another. He is the King's Thief and his once source for intelligence from all corners of either Kingdom. Each King will need one and it is considered one of the most powerful stations to hold in Deverte.

the council members

Each Kingdom will have a council made up of one member from each herd, than is not the leader of that herd. These equine will confer with the High King and his adviser on all matters ranging from thefts and fights, to civil and moral matters.
